INTRO ABOUT US ROUTINES RECENT RESULTS USER POLL

Intro
Introduced in the Soviet Union in the 1940s, Rhythmic Gymnastics uses balls, clubs, hoops, ribbons, and ropes. But you need so much more than that to achieve in the sport. You need dedication, spirit, hope, a dream and a smile. Combine all of those things and you’ll be a champ. To win, you must earn the most points, which are awarded by a panel of judges. You will be judged based on leaps, handling, flexibility, pivots, balance, and artistry.

ABOUT US
'The Prancing Tigers were founded 2 years ago, when our university president saw a Rhythmic Gymnastics event on TV and decided he’d like a team of his own. We’re the best in our division. Here’s who we are:

Sara – 21 years old. Sara loves jumping, running, and ribbons. She is one of the most spirited girls in school and has a dream of being a doctor someday. Jenny – 20 years old. Jenny comes from a long gymnastics background and won several state championships before joining the team. She’d like to be a teacher after graduation. Kristen – 21 years old. Kristen is the team captain and has led the Pracing Tigers to victory many times. Kristen wants to be a professional Rhythmic Gymnast.

ROUTINES

The 32 Hoops
Unheard of until now, this routine uses 32 hoops. The starting position does not involve any hoops, but by the end of the routine Jenny has the most hoops ever seen on the sport at once.

The Magic of Ribbon
This enchanting routine is all about ribbon. Set to Kovlek’s The Ribbon Dance, the routine celebrates the beauty of the ribbon in the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Eternity
While not a long routine, the name Eternity comes from the fact that Rhythmic Gymnastics is forever. You will not soon forget Kristen’s moves as she performs to Tertoniv’s “Song of Eternity”. Mesmerizing.

Forever Dreaming
As the title suggests, Forever Dreaming is about dreaming forever. With clubs, hoops, and a red ribbon, Sara conveys the feeling of a long dream by moving across the floor with sleepy determination.

The Majesty of the Pink Ball
Throughout the history of Rhythmic Gymnastics, the pink ball has been underrated. But this routine changes everything. Watch closely as Kristen reminds all eyes of the pink ball’s importance to the sport.

The Most Delightful Routine
Originally titled “The Good Routine”, this routine was renamed after an Austrian judge described it as “most delightful.” Jenny really makes it delightful with ribbon, rope, and Stillcott’s “Musical Interludeness”.
